What is a remediation request?

Clients you are connected with on the Risk Ledger platform will review your security profile against the security policy they have set for your organisation, taking into account the work you do with them.

If a client decides that a control you have in place needs updating to meet the requirements of their security policy, they can request remediation on the platform.

A remediation request is a formal request from your client to update a control. The remediation request will include details about the request and a deadline for the remediation actions to be taken by.

Make sure to action these within the given deadline.

Receiving remediation requests

You can view all remediation requests in your Action Centre under the tab labelled Remediation Requests. Depending on your notification settings, you will be notified via email when a remediation request is submitted by a client.

Responding to remediation requests

Navigate to your Action Centre > Remediation Requests >View and click on the request you want to action.

You can take remedial actions and update your response to the control on your security profile or privately respond to the remediation request by starting a discussion with your client.

Once you have updated your security controls and updated your answer to the control in your Risk Ledger profile, you close the remediation.

Click the green Mark as Done button to close. Your client is prompted to review your remediation.
