What do my suppliers receive from Risk Ledger when they are invited?
We ask that you send the initial primer email to your contact at the organisation to let them know that they will be receiving an invitation from the Risk Ledger platform. Once this is sent, you can send your supplier an invitation from the platform.
This will trigger an invitation email which comes from no-reply@riskledger.com, and the client user that sent the invitation will be cc’d.
What happens if my suppliers don’t accept my invitation?
The supplier will receive a series of automated chaser every 3 days until the invite is accepted, cancelled or expires.
24 hours after the invitation - an email from the platform will be sent.
Every 3 days after the invitation - an email from the platform will be sent.
Formal escalation process for invitations
Clients that have had the most success with supplier onboarding have put a supplier escalation process in place to run alongside Risk Ledger’s chasers. This involves multiple touchpoints from different people within your organisation. Below is an example escalation process that you can replicate in your own organisation:

Hi {Contact},
We sent you an invitation to join Risk Ledger on {date of invite} to complete a security questionnaire, which is crucial for our third-party risk management program. However, you have not yet signed up to the platform.
As our supplier, we expect you to complete the questionnaire as soon as possible. Please provide us with an update on when you plan to do so, or inform us of any delays.
This is a priority for our business, and we require your full cooperation.
Both ourselves and the Risk Ledger Customer Success team (cc’d) are available to help with any questions or concerns you may have.
Kind regards,

Hi {Contact},
Despite our multiple attempts to engage with {Supplier} over the last month, we have not received confirmation that you have signed up to Risk Ledger. This delay has caused disruption to our internal processes, as we must complete a risk review of suppliers we work with.
Please take immediate action and sign up to Risk Ledger. If you are not the best person to respond to this request, create the account and add the appropriate team. If you are unable to comply with this request, you must inform us so we can take necessary action.
Kind regards,

Hi {Contact},
There have been multiple attempts to engage with {supplier name} over the last month but you are still yet to sign up to Risk Ledger.
This has caused disruption to our internal processes, as we need to run assurance against our suppliers in order to work with them.

Invitation escalation tips from clients:
Business requester or relationship managers own the relationship with the supplier, so are usually well placed to reach out.
Having the words ‘Procurement’ and ‘Manager’ tends to encourage a quicker response.
Search for additional contacts on LinkedIn and reach out.
Ensure the person sending the chaser emails from your organisation has a LinkedIn profile, as this helps the contacts verify that they are a real person.
A written letter from a Director at your organisation to the supplier instead of a primer email has led to some clients seeing high engagement.
Where possible, organise phone calls with your suppliers and feel free to invite the Risk Ledger Customer Success team to these calls to discuss any questions.
Mention Risk Ledger during any meetings that you have with these suppliers.
